New features to improve the Raisin UK App

Here are some of the new additions we've made to improve the Raisin UK App.

Password recovery via Email

Forgot your Raisin UK password? You can now reset it in just a few easy steps. All you need is access to your email and a valid verification code. In the past, this process required contact with our customer service and a physical letter, but it is now fully digital.

Here’s how it works:

1. Visit the login page and select “Forgotten your Password?”

2. Enter your email address

3. Open the email and click on the password reset link

4. Enter the verification code sent to your mobile device

5. Set a new password

If the verification code is entered incorrectly three times in a row, password recovery will be temporarily locked. The procedure can be attempted again after 15 minutes.

Improved security with verification codes

At Raisin UK, we're constantly working to make accounts more secure for our savers. That’s why we have upgraded our existing two-factor authentication process by introducing regular mTAN verification code checks.

A verification code is a one-time password sent via text message to authenticate online transactions or banking activities. It serves as a security measure to prevent unauthorised access to your account.

With the new process, we will send you a text message with a verification code every 180 days upon your next login. The message will be sent automatically to the mobile number listed in your account. You will need to enter the verification code when logging in to your Raisin UK account.
