UNEP FI Principles for Responsible Banking

The Principles for Responsible Banking mark the beginning of a significant partnership between the global banking industry and the United Nations. Adhered to by a coalition of over 130 banks from around the world, with the combined members’ assets totalling a staggering $47 trillion.

Speaking at the Official Signing and Global Launch, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the following; “The Principles create the accountability that can realize responsibility, and the ambition that can drive action“.
